In 2020, over 4000 learners at Primary ITO identified as Māori. This map represents how many Māori learners are based in different parts of New Zealand, based on district or city council area. This ranges from hundreds in places like the Far North, Whanganui and in and around Invercargill and Hamilton cities, to smaller numbers elsewhere.
